More than 50,000 vinyl records are digitized and stored on Internet Archive
Good news for people who likes listen to nostalgic songs! over 50,000 vinyl records can be listened online for free.
The ARChive of Contemporary Music (ARC) in New York, USA, is an organization that specializes in the collection and preservation of music resources, and since 1985 they have been doing things to protect audiovisual materials.
It was learned that more than a year ago, it had cooperated with the Internet Archives to make its “Great 78 Project” open to the public. With the efforts of audio-visual digital supplier George Blood LP and other volunteers, the Great 78 project has so far placed more than 50,000 digitized 78rpm discs and cylinder records on the Internet archives, allowing fans to hear all the classic music pieces, and bring the joy of music to mankind.
The singer / band includes: Ada Jones, Caruso, Eddie Cantor, Edison Concert Orchestra, Harry MacDonough, Len Spencer, Paul Whiteman and many others.
