Story of My Guitar Learning

Everyone has its own story of guitar learning, why I am interested in guitar? When I was young, whenever I saw the people playing the music in TV, always felt that they took the guitar and singing on stage was coolest thing in the world.

To the age of sixteen, I often stay in the Video Game Center, especially interested to play the guitar and drum video game, they are the machine with imitated musical instrument.

Each time there were crowded with people, they were waiting and watched people play the game, and these games are coming with good listening music, game-play is simple, but let player has a feeling really like playing a song in the way with the musical instrument.

However, after playing for a long time,  I found that I am just playing video game, not to pick up the real guitar skills, I felt that no matter how good I performed on the game, it will only waste money, I cannot obtain any practical skills for my life.

At this time began to set my own goals, I will not go to the Video Game Center and play the machine again, I want to be a real Guitar Player! Since I started to do part-time job in society, I have money and started to learn Guitar.

On the first lesson, the teacher taught two song, “really love you” and “like you” (note: later I asked many friends, whether self-taught or with the teacher, these two songs are the popular song for beginner).

At the beginning, I thought playing guitar should be a very easy thing, however, I am wrong, I need to use whole night in order to overcome the C CHORD, the fingers are not controlled, later, when I would like to play “Like You”, in order to overcome F Chord, I almost dizzy on the ground. Only a song, why we need to spend a lot of time in practice?

Spent so many hours later, Cocoon gradually accumulated on my fingers’ head, anyway I still keep practice guitar day by day, every day after eating immediately take a bath, and then practice the songs assigned by teacher, and sometimes practice too tired until mid-night, I go to school with two very dark circles on my eyes in the morning.

Those days were very tough and tried, but I though this is worth, compare with playing video game, I learned the new practical skills for my life.
Practiced for several years, later I began to form my own band with my music friends, the band members are not stable, but in we have common interest (music) to sustain our ideal. Anyway, if I were not selected to learn guitar, I think I am still wasting time to play the video game in Video Game Center, and got nothing practical skills for my life …
