I would like to apply to be a member of “I am Guitar Player .COM”. I think Hong Kong music concentrates too much on commercial values. The songs talk a lot about love, and many songs lack uniqueness and creativity.

Most of the idols in Hong Kong paid too much attention on their appearance and image instead of the way and techniques they use to present the songs to the audience.

If I become an idol in Hong Kong, I would ask my fans to try composing songs by themselves and develop their unique singing styles instead of just modeling and copying my style. They should learn how to distinguish and then produce good music. I love many songs, especially the song ‘You raise me up’. I gain energy and confidence from this song.

I learn guitar because I really love guitar music. Playing guitar makes me feel joyful, relaxed and full of passion. I like the band AT 17 most, they play their music according to their hearts. Listening to their songs is touching.

I am a beginner in guitar. I learn acoustic guitar in a guitar class. I learnt how to play single notes, and then chords and scales, and finally how to play a song using the techniques learnt. At first, I found my fingers quite slow and painful. However, I kept trying and I progressed gradually.

Now, I can play some simple songs successfully. I really love playing guitar. Please let me join your forum by giving me the invitation pin, thanks a lot!
