"The music streaming platform, commonly known as the "Listen to Music App" has become a spiritual food for many young people nowadays.

The International Association of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) released its annual report on the global music market in March this year (2021), showing that the total revenue of the global music market in 2020 was 21.6 billion US dollars, of which the total revenue of streaming music platforms has increased by 19.9%, accounting for 62.1% of the total revenue of the market.

Under the pandemic of Coronavirus, these platforms have become more popular. How has the music fans’ listening habits evolved? Many musicians have turned to stream platforms to release singles, accelerating the decline of the physical recording industry. At the same time, a group of independent musicians has released songs through the platform in Hong Kong.

Can they survive?"
