After over 20 years, the musical arrangement of this new cover version is better than the original. The singer’s voice is nice, thicker voice, and has enough singing technique to treat this song. Good!
Introduction to Musician
Lascelles was born on 10/17/1955 on the Caribbean Island of Jamaica. He began singing at age seven with his sister Marguerita and later on with his brother Brinkman.
Lascelles migrated to Canada in the ’70s and continued on his musical journey there, writing, recording, performing, and promoting his songs throughout Canada. In 1992 he moved to the United States and in addition to pursuing music opportunities he co-founded the independent label Starlyte Entertainment Enterprise & Media Inc. aka S.E.E.M.I
His latest releases both on the S.E.E.M.I label are Worthy a Reggae praise song and a Reggae cover of the Jackson Brown classic Lives In The Balance. Available at most online stores and streaming platforms including Apple Music.
